Yeonmi Park

Yeonmi Park is a human rights activist who was born in North Korea. She escaped as a teenager with her family and now works to bring attention to the horrors of the political oppression in her home country. Park has written In Order to Live: A North Korean Girl’s Journey to Freedom. She lives in Seoul, South Korea, and Washington, DC.
